BJP sends legal notice to Omar Abdullah over poaching claims
BJP’s J&K unit has issued a formal legal notice to CM Omar Abdullah regarding his allegations of political poaching. BJP chief Sat Paul Sharma labeled the claim that the party offered a National Conference MLA ₹20-30 crore to switch sides—as completely fabricated. The notice demands that Abdullah either produce concrete evidence or offer public apology within seven days, warning of a ₹100 crore defamation lawsuit if he fails to comply.
