Delhi to launch drive against vehicles with invalid pollution certificates from October 1

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the government will launch a drive against vehicles with invalid Pollution Under Control Certificates starting October 1. Gupta said temporary winter measures are not enough to solve Delhi's pollution, emphasizing a year-round approach. To support this, she inaugurated a new automated vehicle testing station in Burari, which has the capacity to test one lakh vehicles annually.
