The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner has ordered to halt the election process for 100 Urban Local Bodies due to Supreme Court directions. The notification for the elections was issued on October 14, but the final list of candidates is to be published on October 25. The SEC will consider representations from parties and candidates before making a decision.
