Mumbai’s Foreigners Regional Registration Office has issued a notice to actor Imran Khan, asking why his Overseas Citizen of India registration should not be cancelled within 15 days. This comes after the 43-year-old US national was ordered to leave India by October 28 for participating in a peaceful protest in Mumbai.

Authorities stated that foreign nationals cannot join political rallies. Khan has challenged the departure order in the Bombay High Court.
