The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked its 101st foundation day on October 20, 2026, with chief Mohan Bhagwat delivering his annual speech. Bhagwat highlighted the organization's outreach efforts, reaching 4,61,127 villages and 10 crore Hindu households in the past year. He also addressed global concerns, including protests in Europe and India, and called for a ban on drugs and regulation of OTT content.

The Congress party will organize a mock Parliament session at Delhi’s Ashoka Hotel on October 30. Political leaders from the opposition INDIA bloc are set to participate in the event. The main topic of debate will be a proposal to impeach Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The move comes as political parties increase scrutiny over the Election Commission and discuss its overall functioning and role.
