The Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer has found irregularities in 10,470 entries in the electoral roll of the Pilibhit Assembly constituency after a special intensive revision. The investigation revealed that these entries were for corrections, but no records were found in the office. Legal action will be taken against the current and former electoral registration officers, and a computer assistant's services will be terminated.
