Two convicts, Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla, have appealed against their death sentence in the Saurabh Rajput murder case, claiming the trial court's verdict was illegal and arbitrary. They argue the prosecution failed to establish its case beyond reasonable doubt, citing circumstantial evidence and speculation. A division bench of the high court will hear their appeal next week.
