The hearing was delayed due to alleged threats, with the magistrate citing the messages instead of discussing the merits of their release. The police order came amidst protests over the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal announced in Berlin on Friday that his ministry is identifying AI-proof sectors in India. Speaking during an official visit, he named handicrafts, handlooms, culinary arts, and tourism as key areas where technology cannot replace human skills. The effort aims to protect jobs and enhance efficiency for the nation's 1.4 billion people. Goyal stated that government, private, and public initiatives will support these traditional fields.
